If Angels Fall eBook Rick Mofina
If you can stomach many explicit descriptions of psychopathic desires to molest and kill children this book is for you!I don't know how any moral or even mostly "normal" adult can read this sadistic crap!
I'm terrified that there are so many positive reviews, what this says about people's minds is terrifying!
I guess most people are so desensitized to evil nowadays that this seems like "a good read" to many.
Disgusting stuff.

If Angels Fall eBook Rick Mofina Reviews
This is a fantastic book. It is suspenseful and the characters are well developed . The language is clean and there is no graphic sex and violence. Did I mention the suspense? I have loved all of Rick Mofina's books.
I'm never disappointed with any of this authors work. This book grabs you from page one and doesn't let go until three hours later at the last page. The play by play through the parents viewpoint and the media view of the kid napping made it seem as real as if it were happening and you were holding your breath to see if the children were alive or not. The police aspect of the story was also part of the great character involvement. I never miss a title with Rick's name on it! Here is another one out of the ballpark!
Having read several of Rick's books, I can't believe I waited so long to read his first.
An unbelievable first book from an outstanding author. If you like Suspense, crime drama and mystery you absolutely must read Rick Mofina. He never, ever disappoints. This, his first offering, is as taut and terrifying as they come. Prepare to miss appointments and sleep as you will not be able to put it down.
I read some of the reviews that were given by readers based on either an inability to understand the flow of this story or complaints regarding typo's. If you let that be the reason for not giving this author a chance, you cheated yourself on discovering an awesome talent of crime writing. I hate to break the news, but even the most accomplished novelist has encountered something that was unfortunately missed during the final draft. This year alone I have read over 200 novels and have very rarely come across one written without any sort of typo. Before reading this novel, I was not aware of the authors background. As I read I could see the depth in with was taken to fine tune a realistic and powerful story line. It was so well written and engaging, that I had a difficult time wanting to do anything else besides finding out... "what's going to happen next?" I enjoyed this novel from beginning to end and am now a fan for life.
Loving crime novels (with a difference), it was impossible for me not to eventually trip over Rick Mofina's books. Now, to explain "with a difference" - so far, all of his books that I've read are all crime books, true - BUT - I really really appreciate the fact that there is no swearing in them - like so many other books in this genre. The other difference is that his books all deal with families or loved ones. That, to me, makes a huge difference. Since it is so easy to relate to all of the characters, the fact that the victims are family gives the suspense involved a real double whamo in my books. We can all wonder about missing loved ones (or worse) and how we would react to their loss. All of his characters are very well developed. In this case, I even felt for the villain who was forced to live with the thought that he believed it was his fault that he had lost his own children and his need to replace them to be with them. How terrible! The suspense kept me reading all through the first day. Very very hard to put down - as are all of his books! Having been a crime reporter for so many years, he has gained a huge repertoire of ideas for very creative writing - endless ideas from true to life stories. Not one of his books is alike except for the "differences" I've mentioned above. Read this book and, for sure, you will want to read more! This was money very well spent!
I am adding another review to this one to hopefully right a wrong - this review is many months later!
As I went through the reviews to Rick Mofina's "If Angels Fall" - I was struck with shock when I read that he used the f-word throughout the book. The main reason that I love his books is because he doesn't use that type of language. I decided to do a search for the word. I had read the book, as a matter of fact twice, and could not remember being bothered by that word as I don't like it either. Well, the search confirmed that the word was only used once throughout the entire book (and I think used by the antagonist), so I don’t understand the negative review??? It is unfortunate when there is an unfair review that stops others from purchasing and reading books by that author - especially when it's incorrect. I just don't understand the review! True, the initial copy did have spelling errors but that was cleared up and a new edition was published. I almost let this matter go as I wasn't sure what to do about it - but the unfairness of it finally really got to me and I had to state so to set the record straight. I loved this book and I did read it twice. It was lovely. I thought Rick Mofina did a wonderful job of all of the characters. I really do commend him for plotting without the need for gory descriptions and filthy language, as so many other authors use. His books are real for me as he uses so many fairly normal situations that we could all find ourselves in. True, he turns them into opportunities for suspense for his readers. Without those, could there be a book?? So, anyway, for what it's worth - and I do hope this review will be read by those readers who do wish to purchase the book - any of his books!! You'll not be disappointed. They are clean, super interesting, very suspenseful and always have a surprising ending. Enjoy!!
I found rick mofina through book bub with his 4th book in this series. I enjoyed that book and wanted to start at the beginning. I read that ppl complained of typo's and such; and there are some, but it doesn't take away from the story.
This book quickly gets you liking the characters and wanting to know more about them. The story is a good one, and draws you in wanting more. Towards the end, it seemed as if we were losing the story some, and summarizing until the end. Other then that, I enjoyed this book and plan on reading the next.
I tried very hard to read this book and kept pushing myself but about 1/3 through it I gave up. The story and especially Keller were just too weird. I don't like it when children are involved with horrible weird sick people and why there are authors who write about that stuff, I'll never know. A little bit may be okay, but this story was just too much to take.
If you can stomach many explicit descriptions of psychopathic desires to molest and kill children this book is for you!
